How To Be Average At Guitar Hero 2: John The Fisherman
August 20, 2011 in Local Music by stagemaster
So, thanks to a handy device known as the Gamebridge, I’m able to play PS2 on my computer monitor and also record it. This is the first (in a possible series) of how to be really, really average at Guitar Hero 2. This is me desperately attempting to play John The Fisherman on _medium_ … I do all right for a while, but I totally blow the end of the song. I managed a Five Star performance, but it was a really crappy 5 stars.

jajajajaja in medium i do that song in experty and i got 5 stars jajajaja youre a beginner
wow on medium… thats so easy
You are right. Only the 2nd Hero has that option. I tried to calibrate it and it overcompinsated. I’ll try again.
Yeah, there is a delay. If you’re playing Guitar Hero 2, there’s an option to compensate for lag. I used that and it made everything run a lot better. You might wanna try that out.
I got the Gamebridge 1410 and it works great. The graphic quality does take a noticeable hit though. Also there is a slight delay but I only noticed it when playing guitar hero. I have to hit the notes like 1/5 of a second sooner than when I hooked it up directly to my HD TV. Thanks again for showing off the power of Gramebridge. I payed only $25 with free shipping on Ebay. What a steal!
There are two: the 1400 and 1410. The only difference between them as far as I know is the 1410 has an RF plug so you can plug an antenna/cable/satellite/etc into it and watch TV on your monitor.
Hey. Thanks for the points. I’ll let know know how it works out for me. One more questions. Is there botha 1410 and 4110 gamebridge or were people typing it incorrectly?
It plugs into the USB port. The problem with this is even though my monitor is widescreen and can do the equivalent of 720p, the gamebridge won’t work that way. As long as you don’t mind using standard 480i, the gamebridge would work for you. The version I have does do SVideo, though, and that’s what I’m using in this video. That looks pretty decent, I think.
Don’t be so hard on yourself. You did good. Question. Are you connecting the gamebridge to USB or directly to your monitor? I’m seriously needing some advice on how to hook up my new PS2 to my monitor which has both white and blue connections.
Hello again, I am sorry to bother you once again, but how did you resize your video before uplaoding it?PLEASE RESPOND if possible thank you
Well, what I did was resize it prior to uploading. YouTube is going to shrink it anyway when you upload it, so if you do that on your own it’ll make the video take up less space. You could also lower the quality a bit to make the file smaller as well.
Hey I love te video, I have a question, How do you download gamebridge videos like guitar her on here?I tried to upload my guitar hero videos but is said it cant be over 100 megs and it was only 2 minutes. This video is 4 minutes and it let you upload it on here. PLEASE RESPOND!!!!!
not being eman or anything but do you play guiatr i play bass guitar and have been playing for about 2 years with lots and lots of practise at least 5 years that i found guitar hero easy to learn i dont own it but ym friend does and i can play medium songs and its my 3 rd time
That’s hard to answer, sort of. I’ve owned some version of Guitar Hero for at least a year at this point, probably longer. However, I sometimes go for months without playing it. If I could remove the gaps where I didn’t play, it’d probably be about 4-5 months worth of playing.
Nicely done, congrats on the 5-star. The shift up to Hard is tricky, but it’s lots of fun. Best of luck.
