This book has lots of interesting information; however, about 95% of the information that is needed to build a good guitar is not in this book. I had the impression that the author is out of touch with what a beginning guitar builder needs. Having said that, it is probably still worth the cost if you are not actually expecting to get enough information to actually go through the process of building a guitar.
If you do not have a professional grade band saw, you will find it difficult to succeed in the methods suggested in the book. You may find yourself ruining some expensive wood.

I have got good, several books to help, in the planning and construction of my own guitars, all are pretty
much the same, all good, but I just love hmmm the color photo’s, thats what set this book apart from others.
